About Autel IM508S

The IM508 is an Android-based touchscreen diagnostic, service and key programming tablet. This 7-inch Wi-Fi tablet includes the XP200 key programmer capable of EEPROM and key reading and writing. The IM508, an all systems code reader and service tool, offers powerful IMMO functionality including backup, restore, adaptations and coding, key generation and key learning & remote learning.
The Autel G-BOX2 is an adapter compatible with Autels IM508 (with purchase of XP400 programmer) and IM608 Key Programming tablets used to aide in the programming keys for Mercedes DAS3 CAN EIS/EXS in an ALL Keys Lost situation. The G-Box2 also supports DME/DDE ISN Reading and Writing in Boot Mode on applicable BMW vehicles. Bench Method is also supported. All Keys Lost password calculations are 4x to 8x faster. Moreover, the number of insertions and removals of W216 and W164 EISs after the year 2009 is reduced to zero, greatly simplifying the operation steps. It can be used in Boot Mode or Bench Method. G-BOX2 needs to be used with the Autel IM508 or IM608 for reliable performance.
The XP400Pro key and chip programmer, compatible with the IM508 and IM608, reads/writes and learns keys to the vehicle. The XP400Pro enables programming of infrared keys for Mercedes vehicles and IC Chip keys on late model Hyundai KIA vehicles. The XP400 also performs EEPROM-data functions needed for European vehicles. The XP400Pro supports Data Read/Write of 3,000 Plus Chip Types (inc. EEPROM, engine ECU, MCU, IMMO ECU).
